Lauren Amos

Lauren F. Amos is the Vice President of DOE Operations for Catawba Corporations, a company owned by the Catawba Indian Nation. Lauren has over 27 years of business operations and project management experience including all facets of contracts management and human resource management.

Lauren’s vast experience includes small business operations with 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses as well as large business management. She has a thorough understanding of start-up business requirements including joint-venture development and independent new business development. Additionally, she has an extensive level of contracting experience under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and human resource compliance with Department of Labor requirements including, extensive knowledge of the Service Contract Act. She serves as a project manager for multiple DOE contracts that comprise hundreds of personnel in areas of Facilities Support Services including waste management, communications, safeguards and security, and budget and planning. Lauren has successfully secured contracts in excess of $500M and managed a cumulative 3000 staff support professionals throughout multiple Department of Energy facilities. She holds a DOE “Q” clearance and served as a Facility Security Officer from 2003-2023.

Lauren is a member with the Energy, Technology, and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA), a nonprofit business organization that supports the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Department of Energy, where she currently serves on the ETEBA Board of Directors.
